Adaptive Aerospace Group supports NASA through SGT in an effort to predict, model and plan the next generation of dynamic air-traffic management - automated separation assurance. By taking advantage of modern technology, the increasingly crowded skies of the future can be safer and more efficient than the airspace that we currently rely on. Research efforts will model the expected airspace of the future based on anticipated future technologies and regulations. The developed models will be used to develop and test air traffic management algorithms to allow aircraft to independently maintain and ensure a safe separation from other objects that share the airspace. |
